NBA-League fines Nuggets' Smith $25,000 for flagrant foul

NEW YORK — JR Smith of the Denver Nuggets has been fined $25,000 for a flagrant 2 foul against Utah Jazz guard Raja Bell, the NBA said on Saturday.

Smith fouled Bell after the two had tussled under the Nuggets basket and was ejected with 6:45 left in the fourth quarter of Denver's 113-106 home loss to Utah on Friday night. — Reuters
